All I ever wanted was good taste in music.
Never blinded by the lights I grew up with-NYC. Sleeping with the sirens I've always heard- Bronx. Hopeful with the notes I take- Ithaca College. Proud of the cafe-con-leche Abuelita taught me to make -Ecuadorian.
All I ever wanted was good taste in music.

The Beatles on a train with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on their way to Bangor, Wales.
It was on this visit, a few days later, that the Beatles would be told that their manager, Brian Epstein, had passed away due to a supposed drug overdose of sleeping pills.
This was also the train ride in which Cynthia Lennon (John’s wife at the time) was left behind on the platform stopped by two policemen. Cynthia later stated in her book ‘John’ that she was “crying because the incident seemed symbolic of what was happening to my marriage. John was on the train, speeding into the future, and I was left behind.”
